Should say I’m not going to junk this if no-one takes it: I gave it a good year of commuting* in its unstripped state to know it’s worth repairing - but I won’t do anything with it for a long time, so I think it should be in someone else’s hands.Repairs:
I had a quote from Argos for around £130 to replace the seat tube, another £150 to respray the entire repaired frame. That’s okay to me, but I just don’t have that kind of lettuce to spend on a frame that won’t be built up and used!*edit: Stopped using it because I couldn’t ignore the creaking sound that developed : /
