A LWB T5/6 Kombi looks good, but they’re strong money and limited to 60. I wonder if there is such a thing as a LWB Caravelle? The reason I like the look of the Caravelle is that they are usually specified like a car, so aircon, cruise etc.

Surprised all T6's don't come with those. Pretty sure the rental Transit I used a few years ago had cruise control. Definitely had aircon. VW are usually better than other German cars for giving some items as standard.

LWB Caravelle

Given how much you love a project, what about making and one and re-registering it?

Back when I was looking in to converting a T5 in to a camper, the bigger issue seemed to be the lack of sound insulation on the van builds compared to the people carrier and camper builds.
