Old French cars do seem to be in better nick in France , but I love panda . Second hand prices always seem toppy though

Yeah, some cars are definitely more expensive there.
On the other hand once the runabout is obtained, there are things down there like rust free 2-door Range Rover classics, and Citroen BXs just waiting for a mechanically minded owner with a nice new workshop to fix them up in.
