It's like saying "we went on a fixed ride, a friend came with a geared bike and was faster".
Still doens't take away the fun of riding fixed.On the same line you can ride a XC bike or a Gravel/Road+ bike, with the latter making the riding more technical, therefore more interesting imho.

I have ridden the stayer kent route with someone on full sus specialized epic with 2.1 mezcals, absolutely fine, he was also faster than most of us lol
i mean if you just need an excuse to buy, then buy! I am pro-buying.
Strange that EVERY review of gorilla monsoon says they are heavy .. @cake 's Kona which is pretty much the same isnt heavy at all ..
