I’ve had someone sit on my wheel all the way in from Buckhurst Hill to Clapton on an XC bike at just shy of a 32kmh average so I don’t doubt it’s possible to be quick on those bikes but I’d definitely be moving glacially on the roads on 2.6’s without a proper suspension lockout
