This isn't being reported in the mainstream media - or at least, I haven't really seen any volume on it. You'd think with this country's obsession with housing it would be fairly big news?
My understanding is that there are still some sales going through, i know two friends post-lockdown who have managed to buy flats, but i dont know what the actual flat/buildings are like
It's growing. The volume is increasing daily as the market is getting going post Covid. Nationally it's a relatively small part the housing market so it's never going to be front page news.
They are saying flats aren't selling as everyone wants a bigger place after lockdown and lending restrictions are reducing first time buyers, so a different narrative
