Retro mtb 19"

Hey,

I'm looking for an older mountain bike to convert into commuter/tourer.
Ideally something from the early 90s. Rigid fork and decent groupset would be good.
Up to around £250-300. Thanks guys.

Something like lx or xt would be nice but that’s not the deal breaker. The one above is actually v close to what I want as that’s the setup I’m going for. Are you selling?

This isn't mine (a photo I picked from the net as I was looking for inspiration for my build) but I have exactly the same frameset (not the purple stem tho) size 19" in the attic. Also have some 7 speed groupsets (Exage 400 LX, 500 LX, deore LX, deore DX and Deore XT). Send me a pm if interested.
