New Dave Yates bike on the way to me. I will ride it for a while whilst collecting parts, respray it and have a bling (Paul/Nitto/XT) build.

Frame and forks are absolutely dreamy, such lovely craftsmanship!

That looks very nice!
Have you seen the Stanforth Kibos? They look to be similar to what you're building towards. -
• #127433
Quite similar except mine was under £300!

Good deal! Looking forward to seeing how you build it up.

Has anyone successfully sanded the finish off black spokes on a fully built wheel to achieve a silver finish? Is that even a viable thing to do or should I get it rebuilt when it arrives? Would prefer to avoid that if poss. Had a post-ordering change of mind.

Sound like a terrible idea. I suppose it could be done, but I would doubt that the result looks nice. In any case you won't be able to clean up the spokes properly were spokes go through the flanges.

Yeah does doesn’t it.

Hmmm should I?

Yes

should I?
I'd say no to that even if it was free. If you want an aluminium Look, hold out for a 274 or 374 with the HSC3 all-carbon fork

This is a 274 and it did come with that fork.
Though I stole the fork and used it on my Lee Copper 653 road bike.
This frame is laying about doing nothing....

I want it to be a metallic purple, the best colour for any bike.

Since I’m quite fed up with my new frame and not even sure if I can work out the problem easily I am looking for a might be replacement with the current standards from the Veloci frame.
So:
Steel
Flat Mount Disc
ZS44 /Ec44 Headset
27.2mm seatpost
29.8 clamp In the best case
Best case 68mm bsa bbDoes someone know something? My dealer offers the Fuxation Quiver that ticks the boxes and costs around the same as the Veloci. With a boring paint job though.
Welcomed, might be a summer intern but I know the ins and outs of the place pretty well... ;)
