    Bear in mind I have machines capable of stitching the materials with relative ease, but I made my bags from tarpaulin and a mix of 25mm and 32mm webbing.

    There are probably photos around on my threads, but they were effectively @danb Levrier shaped shoulder bags, with straps placed specifically for attaching to the racks. I did that because I had the pattern and it was more than big enough for my bike, and I knew the design was weatherproof. Could have made other bags with more capacity, but I never needed more.

    Be sure to place enough straps for the weight you’ll carry, and be aware of the excess and the buckles so they don’t interfere with the wheel, brakes, gears etc.
