hectic finish, MvdP swerving all over the road

Not sure why he was so far back in the run-up, he clearly had the energy.

I think he thought he could barge his way through, but the field was too good

MVDP was absolutley flying in the last 50m - if he didnt get closed out and have to stop pedaling he would have taken that easily with the speed he was going IMO.

I was confused as fuck watching on mute during Teams meetings but the Tom Pidcock / Rui Costa Hail Mary attack was excellent.

It’s on a circuit, those indicators are how far around the circuit you are. It’s confused the hell out of the commentary team too.

My main takeaway from the men’s Euro race – I totally see why Cavendish speaks so highly of Matteo Trentin. Beast!
