What time is it? Watches and horology

I have a soft spot for bi-metal watches, and root beer bezels but nope. Nope nope nope.

Bleaurgh. That did do good things to the values of my other ones though.

Not yet , will probably take an age to get here as well.
We presold the last one to a client as soon as it was announced and it took forever to arrive . And we didn't get a second one .

The cut through the 8 of 18 on the bezel is a particular shitshow

A few months on, but I absolutely love them.

Here it is. Size feels perfect, it’s not too blue as I was worried it could be. Will check back in 2 weeks or so...

Usually not a fan of red or blue face variations, but that looks spot on and probably better than the black.

Proper tidy. Better than the Big Eye and GS IMO.

I liked the black but wasn’t too sure. This looks real nice and much better in real life than on the photos. Very much like a Rolex Batman - never did much for me on the pictures, but my friend got one recently and it looks the business in real life.

I feel the matt dial really helped.

It looks different on the photos, sometimes even purple depending on the light.

Yeah agree. For me the ceramic only really works on the Daytona. There's no metallic zest on the Coke or the Pepsi.

Sub wise I don't think they'll do a lot with the size of the markers, will be heading too close to certain Omegas I think. Everyone's said it but they need to taper those lugs and upgrade the movement.

Correct! Bit like the GS star and is accuracy credentials.

Is it true that the lugs on the Daytonas are not symmetrical? It looks like it in most photos...

I called local Ernest Jones last Tuesday and the waiting list was 17 people. They get 1, maybe 2 watches per month. So, seems like a year wait? I got it off a watch forum. I'm not that patient...

Apparently the right lower lug is lower to balance out against the pushers.
