Should mention I am 183cm with long legs. All City MM would also fit the bill. Or even a Brother Kepler.

Considering selling my Thorn Audax (57.5) - if that's something you might be interested in. Lovely frame and fork, Ultegra 6600 groupset + 6700 wheels. Will take a 32mm tyre with ease.
Would be well within your budget.

That sounds like something I might be interested in. Do you have some pictures? Where are you based?

Here's a few photos!
Hopefully they give a good idea of the overall condition and spec - I built it back up in March (while I was waiting for one of my other bikes to be brazed back up), and have probably done around 300 miles on it since.
Feel free to drop me a PM, and I can run you through the full spec if it's something you reckon you might be keen on.

It is. Can you give me the tube measurements? I fear it might be a bit big for me.

Sure, both top tube and seat tube are 57.5cm (22 5/8'') centre to centre.
I'm 6ft, for reference.

Are you still looking for a bike?
I’m contemplating parting with my 58cm Tokyo Fixed Wide Open. It’s running full Campagnolo Veloce groupset, H Plus Son Archetype on Hope RS Mono hubs, Reynold Carbon forks etc etc etc. You’ll struggle to get anything larger than 28c on the Reynolds but if the forks are switched it’ll happily run 32c with mudguards front and back.
The front tyre needs replacing and the rear hub needs servicing, but I’ll get those done before parting with the bike.
Let me know

Norfolk is not known for its hills - would you consider a single speed?
I've got a Lemond Fillmore in excellent condition with full length mudguards...going for substantially less than £1000 -

.
Hi folks. I want a bike to take up to my Mum's in Norfolk to use when I'm there - I live in Berlin.
The roads are pretty crappy where she is, so better if it can take a wider tyre and even mudguards.
Something like a cross check or croix de fer would be perfect. Doesn't have to be a light bike, but not an absolute tank or piece of shit either. Would want to pick up in London in a couple of weeks, or have a friend pick it up. Hit me up if you have anything. £1000 would be absolute maximum.
Ta,
Ben
