Weird dig.

I’ve got it for £1750 on eBay, would sell for £1650 posted (I assume you’re in the UK?) to the forum. It’s a mint January 2020 example with (huge) box and papers. Let me know if you’d like photos and a video etc

I’ve read someone saying that if you need a date on a dive watch (while diving) you’re in trouble. So, I actually think it’s cool they didn’t put the date on the BB58. And the BB58 blue is apparently a nod to the french marine navy (I think) as they had Tudors issued for them in the past that had blue dial and bezel.

except those that desk dive... then a date is a good thing

Thanks, but too dear for me.
The Sinn 356 is nice with 10 ATM water resistance if you want a similar watch?
-
• #47332
Thanks anyway.
Yes, I think there’s one Sinn Chrono that has 200m WR, that’s quite amazing I think.

So, Rolex is releasing more watches (you can't get) on 1st of September. Anyone excited?

Does anyone have a 20mm Milanese (ideally Squale) that they hate and want rid of?
-
• #47336
Without knowing what they are, no.

The Sub is overdue a movement upgrade.
-
• #47339
It needs a bling downgrade
-
• #47340
Seems unlikely at this point. As long as they don’t start polishing the bracelet centre links it’ll be fine. I’d expect bigger hands and markers, more like the recent Yachtmaster 42 and a movement upgrade with the new escapement, 70hr power reserve etc.

• #47341
You mean mine is already obsolete? I’m shocked.
-
• #47342
No such thing as an obsolete Rolex, merely one that has aged gracefully.

I rather like the new Longines Spirit. Comes out in 2 sizes, 40mm and 42mm. I wish they did 38mm or so too.

How waterproof is it?
-
• #47345
It’s not. It’s water resistant to 100M :-)

• #47346
On the Rolex thing, I’m with Regal on the only acceptable watches are the one without polished links etc, be sad to see the new Sub (if this is what is coming) become more gaudy.
-
• #47347
become more gaudy.
It will. Guaranteed.
-
• #47348
gaudy
I wonder if they actually ever get more gaudy, or if it's just people's perception about older models that changes.
-
• #47349
No one wears it in the water so they might as well. They should have stopped after the white gold markers. It’s the shiny ceramic bezel with platinum numbers that ruin it for me.

Thought this was nice, was looking for the bit where Longines fucked it, spotted the stars, is it a Feefo review?
yep, don't let any workers own anything nice or they might betray their own class #lumpenproletariat
