When you first arrive in Seattle (hopefully not a spoiler to anyone) and it presents you with a mini open-world, i was expecting the same for most of the game, especially given how well they made the use of the paper tourist map etc.
The attention to detail is next level though. Like if you revisited the large seattle map over the course of the game, it updated with where you'd been, notes etc.
That was the only dud point for me, mooching around those grassy ruins. I guess it was supposed to acclimatise you and get you chatting to Dina about some major plot points but I was desperate to get back into the main story after clearing out a couple of buildings, hate doubling back on myself
