Looking for advice as it's new bike time for me. I'm replacing my road bike, which I ride a lot, and my gravel bike, which I ride a bit. Based on that, I think I'm after a road bike that can take wider tyres once in a while. I have a mountain bike for anything rougher than the sort of #nogravel pictured above.
At the moment I'm thinking of a Standert Pfadfinder. The road geometry with the option of having some 650b wheels to throw on is particularly attractive. What else is there in this category that I should consider? Framesets plz (got most components on the other bikes), with the Standert about the most I would want to spend? Open to materials other than steel.
