  • Although looking at the vid again you can definitely see a pull to the side like it's not seated, or the wheel's out of true. I'll have to double check there's not anything else going wrong.

    Edit - better pics (also, there was a kink in my wheel).

    You can see in one there's about 45mm of rubber and the middle point of the tyre is at about 23mm.

    In the other there's about 40mm of rubber (few mm less really, but whatever) and the mid point is at 24, so only about 16mm of rubber on the other side.

    So. Will it kill me?

  • Is the bead fully seated all the way round so the line shows 1-2mm above the rim edge?

    Yes (when inflated - they're not in those pics). But that shouldn't affect the centre line of the tyre relative the edge of the rubber though, as far as I can figure.
