"oh this is just the Noga factory branding them slightly differently so they can sell more"
This does happen with factories in China. Same production line doing branded and out the back door stuff. A lot of cost is the set up so the incremental cost isn't that high. Often not the same QC on the out the back door stuff though.

Yeah, still fraudulent I'd think. Wouldn't mind if it'd been sold as "...from the same factory as Noga..." as it does work.
Did the virtual chat thing on Paypal again today and it gets to a point where it's like "Do you want to be referred to an assistant" so I clicked yes and it asks you to write a message with what you need help with and put in the transaction number etc and I was just like, "What is going on? This is ridiculous, you need to sort this".
Firm but polite.
Got a message about half hour later saying I was getting a refund.
Gah, useless paypal cunts!
Bought a 'Noga' deburring tool mid July, when it showed up it was branded 'Nuoda'. Its a blatant case of counterfeit product being sold as the genuine article. For those that don't know Noga is a pretty decent brand of (amongst other things) deburring tools.
Filed a claim on the 17th July and its still not resolved yet.
Seller said via ebay messages that "oh this is just the Noga factory branding them slightly differently so they can sell more" which a)sounds like bullshit and b)even it was true it sounds like a whole different type of fraud.
When I opened the dispute/claim thing on Paypal the resolution date was the end of July, when it got to that date it changed to early august and so on. It was supposed to be resolved today but it just got bumped to the 22nd Aug now.
Tried ringing them but its an automated system and it just gives you the info that's already online.
Anyone know how you get put through to an actual person?
