30.9 seat post clamp / collar (for CAAD10, 27.2 post)

Hi all.

Inspected the Cannondale seat collar on a second hand CAAD10 I bought, and it's a piece of poop, to put it lightly. Uneven on the inside with fine ridges running horizontally, which have bitten into the frame slightly. Not nice at all.

I have a Salsa Lip Lock which is perfectly smooth on the inside, but unfortunately the closest to 30.9 they make is 32 and I tried it and it's too large. Shame as it's an absolute eye-sore 90s MTB components pink, and would surely be a theft deterrent.

So: Looking for a good quality, non-Cannondale, 30.9 collar. Does one exist?

I know many people will have no problem with the C'dale collar, but to me it looks like crap and I want something better.

Hi Would a 31.8 clamp not work? It seems to be one of the most common seat clamp sizes and it would be strange if anyone comes up with their own size for it 🤔

Or if your talking about Seat post Shims theres a 31.8-27.2 made by I.D

Hey. No not shims, and 30.9 probably best.

Ah, there is a black Salsa Lip Lock in 30.8.

I'll try to get one of those and see if it works. Will have to import from the States but probably worth it.

The tiny size difference should be no issue, right?
