Lots of riding and not much building over summer. Autumn is on the way though so the guards have gone on the Tricross. Needed to chop the guards a bit to fit with the 38c tyres under the mini-vs, hopefully hasn't weakened them too much. 100mm Kalloy Uno to replace the old 80mm stem, numb hands are causing less of an issue now, so trying to get the fit lower and longer. It's a great bike for the ruined back lanes of Shropshire, with the wider tyres, without being too slow. Used it for a 250k ride out to Barmouth and back, taking in plenty of climbs. Really can't get enough of Mid-Wales, beautiful and quiet. Aiming to start doing some audaxes next year on it.
Bits for the new wheels are on the way (Kinlin XR22t/SP PV8 dyno/Novatec F482sb), which will be paired with the B&M lights from the Roadrat (now sold), once they've been built up. Then some GRX 46/30t cranks to gain some more top end while keeping the low climbing ring.
