The Moonwatch is a great example of their approach to pricing, Omega had two UK price rises last year (May & Oct) and the next imminent is rumoured to be another 6-7%. It was a sub £2k watch about 15 years ago, a friend bought one admittedly discounted about two years ago from an AD for £3K. To be honest my focus is nearly exclusively vintage and prices have remained fairly unchanged although I’ve seen a few people cashing in their Ed Whites.
@PawG Sorry, only got 20mm buckles.
Cool, less than I thought.
Not a huge gap then. A 2019 moonwatch in excellent condition with all of the gubbins only costs about £800ish less than new. A 2016 without the flashy case about £1200 less. If the price goes up let's see what the 2nd user market does.
