Does any know about retro fitting an electric set up to a Bullitt. I was told the BB style motors wont fit, front wheel is too small and it would just be nuts to fit something on the back wheel.

I have had 5 plus great years out of the Bullitt but the kids have pretty much out grown it. So short of selling it I am weighing up my options for it. Which include an electrifying option.

Pendix or bafang bbsd are the two main ones, both fit fine. Maybe the original mk1 frame might not fit as the bb lower tube was very chunky! Grounding out isn't a common thing, centre stand hangs lower and will likely catch first.

Cheers for this and the advice from others. I think I may have a mark one frame. I bought it about 7-8 years ago and it was 2nd hand at the time.
