Thanks @doubleodavey local diy store Jessops in east ham reckons since the lockdown has eased local take aways reopening had brought them back with a vengeance. I got loads of wire wool, I need to buy some mesh though for the airbricks. Glue traps on the shopping list.

Glue traps were my most successful way of catching. Then murder in the morning.
Block up as many holes as you can with wire wool, cover air bricks with mesh etc
