  • Is the brevet insulated jacket pretty good? I might pick one up as I plan to cycle commute more often through winter.

    I'm quite tempted by the lightweight shadow PTJ. Any one here used it?

  • I’ve not got experience but my shake dry is a fantastic bit of kit. If you can find one on sale by Gore or one of the other licensed makes I’d go for that.

  • For mild rain and wind I rate it highly, the cut is pretty good, love the double zip, very light, but if you want a heavy downpour jacket look elsewhere.

    Of course! It's a rather niche item in my view. There aren't that many times it's useful to have as it's not a proper waterproof, it's not warm, and if it's sized properly it doesn't really have space to allow for layering. However, on days where it's damp and drizzly but not too cold, it's a useful thing to have.
