Kinlin is good value and reliable, no point spending a lots of money for rims that gonna wear out.

I guess thats true

They're wide, light, cheap, come in all drillings and don't have naff graphics.
Spend a minute in the wheel building thread and you're get a better picture of how much people rate them.
Here's my disc rear, rim brake front combo

I just spent way too long asking myself why the hell you’re only running a rear disc brake.

That's lovely. What size is the frame?
-
• #1037
Thanks. Size 61cm the frame says. Geometry is a bit weird but angles are nice and steep

Ugly cranks, unnecessary stem, looks like an Aventon
jk it's a fixie I love it

Can't quite get my head around the layback on the post/saddle and the 140mm stem. Also, you could park a car between the downtube and rear wheel.

... just suggests the owner has got the bike fitting them.
And they're more bothered with quick tube changes than skidder's rizla-clearance affectations.

A world tour rider who’s had a bike fit? Well I never.

Looks like a bike that’s set up to suit the owner not Instagram.
The kind of bike that turns up at the club run and gets dismissive looks from the plastic bike di2 crew then pumps them on the hills.
Black brake callipers, de sticker the front wheel and ditch the bag and pump from the frame would probably have it looking a lot better, imo.

I welcome the big clearance, no fun trying to get the chain out when a puncture happen.
Plus it’s set as a road bike, a layback is very likely a necessity due to track bike typically having such steep seat tube angle.

If it's a CAAD5 and not a Capo you can only really make use of the mid to rear end of the dropout once you go 25c or over. At least on mine i couldn't slide the a 25c (chubby GP 4000) wheel in any further than the midpoint without jamming on the brake bridge. It made it tricky to get the gearing setup as well so it might be that's where the wheel ends up with his gearing. I couldn't get my chain tug to work that far back.
From memory i had a little more room to manoeuvre on my Capo.
