Metal ones

Handy Straps say that their 50mm d rings are made with 6mm wire. Which sounds much better than what I have.

Just make sure they’re welded. I have a massive bag of ebay unwelded that are relatively thick, but if you wrench them tight like I did on the motorcycle bags, they deform over time. So now I have a big bag of 50mm’s that I’d not use for any serious or weighty applications.
