    No slippage at 6.8, constant adjusting though as I lend out my bike quite often. Check up on the reviews on MTB forums.

    No such issues neither with Salsa nor Thomson which have the barrel nut and steel bolts.

    Only suggested the former as OP wanted clamps which comes in both QR and Allen key, otherwise I'll go Thomson with the 4mm instead of the 3 they are currently supplied with.

    Specifically I want to swap the bolt/QR out ideally without replacing the seatclamp and removing the seatpost. Is that possible with the Salsa? Doesn't look like it unfortunately

    Maybe I just have to buy two and mark my seatpost height

  • Sorry if I didn't make it clear, the flip lock that you attached is a combination of both, there's an Allen bolt which screws into the flip side.

    The barrel nut is part of the hinge on the QR lever, with the Allen bolt on the opposite end, so yeah if you want 2 in 1, this would be it.
