BikeGang is Paul Chiu in Taiwan, I’ve bought stuff from him and he’s dead sound. Massive Brommie enthusiast.

After years and years of nagging mrs jaw wants to get back on a bike and she fancies her chances on a Brompton. Stock situation is beyond diabolical over here with delays until November. Anyone on here got any pointers to fast track a shipment?
-
• #9233
Black editions due to shops end of november, but these are going to go like hotcakes, straight to ebay....
I am trying to sell to real people, not resellers, so if you want to make contact September 4th is when the order books open and we will be able to order fresh stock - not taking any pre orders etc. ( at all, just for forumers)

Thanks a ton! I’ll be in touch then, calendar reminder set. Any objections to ship to Singapore?
-

Uk shipping only as per Brompton contract, until september when contract ends and reverts to shop collection only.

anyone know of a phone holder that would fit on a brompton, anywhere really but ideally on the handlebars? I have a specific use for one as am loving the bike and thinking of doing a three day ride round the kent and south coast and theres lots of specific sites I want to visit in the time. actual usage while on the bike would be none but need the screen on to alert me to the points to stop at.
A google just brought up generic ones. -

I can picture it becoming a perk offered by businesses.

Tubeless sealant in Brompton inner tubes - worth it or a waste of time?
-
• #9239
Depends on what tyres you are putting them on.
-
• #9240
Why? Kojaks.
-
• #9241
worth it.
-
• #9242
Used them on my gumwall kojak for a year and had no punctures or issues.
Granted you'll notice the additional weight of the sealant but it's definitely worth the trade off it you want to run Kojaks.

I wouldn't/didn't run my Kojaks without it. IME Kojaks were very prone to glass p*nctures on the daily commute, not so much after sealant (at all), and when I took mine off, it was evident the sealant had been useful on at least one occassion.

Touch wood, I've never actually had a puncture with Kojaks. Mind you I barely use it these days, though when I took it out the other day I had a valve stem failure which was a bit annoying.
Stuck 25ml in the new tube, can't hurt.

When worn, fit the contis

S'weird.
I'm running Kojaks.
My brommy is occasional use only.
Bi-weekly shop at Sainos..
Not had a puncture in 2-3 years
Correction - never had a puncture since I bought the bike in 2014. -

Quad lock, get the regular handlebar holder and it sits nicely on the top of the stem.

Brompton 3.0 on the way.

Can confirm the contis are great. Why it took conti so long to get in on Bromptons is a mystery.
Throwback post but have you built any of this stuff up?
