    A simple pedal train board, a decent power supply and patch cables is all most of us will ever need really.

    Yeah, I think those things can create the "norm" / "accepted wisdom" rather quickly. I can't listen through an episode of TPS any more, all the tepid white bloke blues soloing is like fingernails down a blackboard to me. His red Tele is a lovely guitar though.

    A simple pedal train board, a decent power supply and patch cables is all most of us will ever need really.

    When I finally bought a board, I made sure that I got one that was slightly on the smaller and practical transport size, so that I've been forced to make a choice about real estate and what I do or don't need. If I want something new, somethings gotta come off.

    Currently run - Tuner>Volume Pedal>Vox Wah>Small Stone>AYA BM70 Fuzz>DopeFX Dazed and Confused>Shin-Ei FY6>Belle Epoch.

    That plus my power brick all fits in nicely, plus cables, capos, picks and blow.
