Max Radometer level achieved.

Yes, and more importantly with 30% sag, so (I am led to believe) I have the correct number of volume spacers in there. Or something.

I know bleeding Hope Brakes is messy but after doing SRAM and Hope back to back, I'll take the Hope simplicity any day.
If you're bottoming out on the red runs I'd consider a tad more air or another volume spacer, or an MRP ramp control. 😉

Take that brake chat back to the gravel thread!

Well worth it

I’d say I’m getting the full travel, it doesn’t feel like I’m bottoming out. I started with the full complement of tokens in the back and three in the front, I’m leaving the rear shock full and I took one out of the front. I’ll put it back in if I get more rad.

Sounds about right to me. You want to be using all your travel on a tough trail

I used all my travel in Croydon yesterday

All this suspension chat is worthless without data acquisition software

That was some chunky Grenadier Gravel (tm)

Do you still have a shockwiz? Just wondering if it can or does make suggestions on how many bottomless tokens to run?
I have the same fork and shock albeit 170mm travel. I think its worth experimenting with making small 2psi changes in the lyrik. I find running a higher psi giving 20-25% sag and one less token felt nicest.

I do, but handily I left it at home. It can make suggestions about shock tokens, so it would have been very handy, but hey ho.
I did a 20km/1km climbing loop this morning in very beautiful surroundings, lots of donging vache and a few sheep and goats to provide a sound track, and a couple of big birds of prey at one point.
The Magura lever came almost all the way to the bars on the long descent back into Morgins, so it’s being removed and a Zee fitted as I sit and eat my lunch/type this.
The Deathgrips say 2Nm max, but at 2Nm they’re not stable on the bars, the right hand one is rotating when gripped hard - just tighten them further and YOLO? Burgtec carbon bars so I can’t see anything going wrong with this idea.

Could someone help with the following question? I’ve googled this to no avail.
I have a 2021 model Lyrik, it’s for high and low speed compression damping- how many clicks should there be for both?
I’m getting 2 for high and 10 for low.

I just popped out to play with it and it actually feels like I’ve got four, this article suggests that there should be five however: https://enduro-mtb.com/en/first-ride-review-rockshox-lyrik-2019/

• #3094
If you have 4 clicks, doesn't that equate to 5 positions?
-
• #3095
Not sure I follow?
-
• #3096
Start in position 1.
One click takes you to 2, a second click takes you to 3, and so on? -
• #3097
Gotta give the deathgrips a good whack onto the bars when installing. They use a tapered core (ironically for added hold) - sounds like you might not have them all the way on the bars

I’m counting total number of detentes, as it were.

Interesting! I had wondered why they had such a painfully ironic name, given that I’d torqued them precisely to spec and they were shifting when I looked at them funny.

I think that I am glad to be on a modern one rather than that purple beauty.
Here’s what travel I was getting on the blue- achieved full travel on the red.
