Any time I ride my day one 20, outwith family cycles where we trundle along with panniers/a kid on the back, I think I hate it. I've been commuting in and it feels so slow and heavy and I am beginning to detest the nexus 8 hub. Family spins are great as the low pressure, wide tyres mean the usual comfort and bumped kerbs, mild gravel and all that, but anything else and I constantly curse it under my breath.
Not sure how any cycling magazine can claim (as one review did) that it would pass as a proper road bike.
