Does anyone know what sort of pinch bolt is supposed to be used with this collar? Because it has no recess I could use any old bolt but what’s the neat ‘correct’ solution? The hole is 5.8mm with new powdercoat everywhere so presumably really 6mm.

I don't know about correct, but neat would be a button head screw (Torx ideally, but Allen key if you must) into a Nylock nut. That gets you nice rounded no-snag surfaces both ends as long as the screw doesn't project past the nut.

Yep, that’s the homestyle solution.

Think I’m going QR as it’s for a stoker seat which may need to be adjusted for various users.
