Just done some depressing reading re: Bowie sleeping with underage girls, then seen your post and did the same for Peel. Wedded an American girl when he was 25 and she was 15, had a 3 month affair with another 15 year old when he was 30 - it particularly hits home as I'm 31 and even the students round here seem like children. Fuck sake.

And Phil Hogan in the Guardian writes this about Peel "As for being interested in schoolgirls, well it is true that about a hundred years ago he once married a 15-year-old by accident, but, come on, that could have happened to anyone - especially in the 60s."
