One more strike and you're out

Bob Dylan. Except his Christmas album which is incredibly awful in a good way.
-
• #2654
But so far he hasn’t been outed as a nonce

Cheesy chips. What the fuck.

Pancakes. Seriously.

I never got David Bowie
^^^ Speaking of nonces, Bowie did sleep with children but no one seems to mind.
-
• #2658
Same with Iggy Pop/Lou Reed being nonces.

95% of the aphex twin stuff is shit.
FTFY.
Orphans and Windowlicker were ok but most of it is just fucked up random button pressing. I definitely don't get it.

• #2666
Ha ha. I haven’t thought about that in years.

i bought the book of TVGH when i was about 15 having never heard of it or charlie brooker. i took it home and ended up reading it cover to cover on a saturday night. i think it's the only time i've ever cancelled a night out (which in those days just involved me not going cos it was before i had a mobile)

Ponder that over a couple of pints of Rattler...

I said something similar about Prince on Twitter and it was probably the most dangerous thing I have ever done.
The venom in the responses was terrifying.I’ve never got Nick Cave. I think he’s just waiting to be the new Morrisey. It’s basically the same kind of career based on a kind of morbid personality cult for ineffectual white blokes . Dodgy novels, anachronistic masculine image and now Nick is starting to dog whistle to the fash with his “free speech” grumbling.

Nick was incredible in The Birthday Party, anything he's done since then (apart from, maybe, the first Bad Seeds record) has been shit...
-
• #2671
Yep quite liked the birthday party, but it’s like Morrisey with the Smiths..I’m not the biggest fan but I listen from time to time. Morrisey now is Farage with a quiff

That thing. You know that thing? That long held belief of yours. That opinion based on your own set of experiences. That band. That song. That place. That thing. One of many that you hold near and dear as part of your own identity, part of your sense of self. That thing that is an important cultural reference to your time and space continuum. that anchors you to your own past and triggers memories of large swathes of your lived life. That thing. Your thing. I never 'got' your thing.

100% agree. I think a lot of those people take all of their opinions from 6 Music DJs.

Haha. I’d love to know which comment in the last couple of pages has triggered this response.
