I have a electric hub motor (brompton kit from ebikes.ca) that I have stripped the threads on the left hand axle.
It's a solid axle (no cable exit) so I think that it may be able to accept a rethread so I may continue using it. Curious if anyone knows of any machinists/shops that might be able to rethread something like this?
Probably would need to do both sides so would sit in dropout evenly I expect.
