700c wheels? or 27"
Any idea on the seatpost diameter? Is it or the stem stuck?

What's on the down tube (2nd picture) near to the shifters?

It's a guide and stop for bar end shifter cables. There's probably one on the other side as well. I think you can just see it on one of the pics.

So the forks aren't original, they're 700, the frame is 27" the stays have been professionally widened for more modern hubs, hence the long drop brakes at the back
I'm not home until Tuesday/Wednesday to check about the seatpost diameter, but it comes with the seatpost and I can probably find the clamp somewhere. But I will measure if you're interested. I didn't check if everything moves freely but I'd say there's very little chance anything is seized, as it's been stored indoors, but will check.
Should add that the frame comes with everything seen in the photos

They're more guides than stops, one of them's bent as they're very delicate
W.P. Newton road bike frame, cinelli stem and bars
Really nice frame with Nervex Pro lugs and beautiful wrap around seat stay, built in Acton. Not sure of the age or the tubing, but it's light and very well made. It looks like there's a very slight bend(almost imperceptible) in the top tube where it meets the head tube, however I've ridden it for years and it didnt effect the ride. Comes with a nice set of cinelli stem and bars.
