The issue is not really whether a lot of them break, it's that since they are also ugly, heavy and expensive, it is utterly unforgivable that any of them breaks. Kalloy SP-248 is prettier, lighter when cut to the same length, and a quarter of the price. If the Miche isn't at least indestructible, then what is it for?
