I bought a bare one and recovered myself, wasn't hard at all and still going strong (although the nose plastic has split, but I think that's unrelated), but should also be fine without anything on it at all.

It was a pretty easy job actually. Removed the rails, used pritstick on the shell to give it enough tack to get a rough outline. Cut out the two halves of the shape, and then use some stronger glue on the undersides/folds to stick it down (stronger glue was Bostic something or other)

First very short test on the Composit seems positive. Really not sold on the white though.
As there’s no padding I figure I could just pull the leather off it and it won’t change the comfort much? Had someone already done this?
