  • FUUUUUCK! Rode home in torrential rain last night. Didn’t think would be a problem. Tips? Crown open and some of those sachets in a Tupperware?

  • I don't think sachets would help to dry it out properly. And even if they do, it would ideally need cleaning and lubricating properly to prevent any rust etc. I'd say it needs a service for sure, but I might be wrong.

  • Crown open and put in a box with something to dry out. Sachets, rice, that sort of thing. Not salt as that will rust.

    It'll need a service I'm afraid. Try Alsal.

  • Got to ask how this happened? No warranty?

  • I did the exact same thing with my Hamilton Khaki. Crown open in a tupperware thing full of rice, covering the watch head with rice as well. Left it for a few days, solved the issue. I didn't service it afterwards.
