Keeping up with Nibali on the descent would be tough so maybe just a little but of inexperience. Just as long as he is ok is the main thing. Just shows that safety needs to be looked at in all these races.

A little old lady drives onto the course WTF takes out Schachmann.
He finishes, hope he isn't hurt.

Looks like she'd been on the road for a bit too. Seems the race organisers have forgotten how to race organise. Although so close to the finish you'd think she would have some idea there was a bike race going on?

The descent of the Sormano is known to be extremely challenging. Itās not the first incident on it in recent editions, so you do wonder if the climb of the Sormano is worth including.
The Schachmann incident was appalling, cars should not be allowed on the race route in any level of professional race, but in a WT race? RCS need to urgently find out how that happened and put protocols in place to prevent it from happening again.

Watching the Remco crash, it looks like he hit the wall with his right pedal or foot?
No update on his injury so far. -

Fairplay to Schachmann though, not many people can say they were in a car crash and still made 7th at Il Lombardia. Hope he's okay.

I got a chapeau on a climb in France today, too exhausted to figure out whether it was said sarcastically.

if you're british and someone does something worthy, you should comment 'hat' to show your appreciation

What if you are an English person who speaks French living in France? Or a Dutch person posting in English on a London based cycling forum?
I eagerly await the LFGSS judiciary's verdict on these issues.

What about dossard?

Fractured pelvis for Evenepoel, not as bad an outcome as feared/looked.
At this rate, the winner of the Grand tours will be the last ones standing...

Doubt he'll make the Giro now.

At the current rate of crashing, neither will anyone else...
Oof all three Trek riders shelled in one move there at the front
