I’m still on the lookout for some Campag bits to try out - I’d really like chorus 12, but that’s stupid as I’d need new wheels and stuff - and it’s expensive AF. If I can find some 11sp chorus at a decent price, I’ll pick it up as I won’t have to change my cassette, chain or wheels. I like the idea of being able to dump gears seeing as most of the riding I do now has a fair bit of up and down. I also just haven’t got on that well with this generation of mechanical Shimano hood.
I really do love this bike though, it’s mad comfortable and I really gave it the beans today on a long descent and to me, that’s where it shines. I’ve always struggled with riding in the drops on most bikes I’ve had, but here I feel very at home doing so. I don’t really think about the bike, or my contact points, and that’s pretty much what I was aiming for - something that just disappears underneath me.
