Great! Glad to hear people are digging them.
Will have to plan a few more. Probably do a 97 style hardstep one next. And another jump up one.

Just got around to picking up the latest Deep Jungles.
Shouldn't have slept before the held-backs got put out, but there's a lot to buy at the moment, it seems.
Haven't listened to the LP enough to know which tunes I like the most - they're all good! Just had Amonzo on at the time, but the 'Love Me' 12" has been on my mind all weekend. Simple break loop but so many little nice jazzy edits. Makes me think of Bluenote style Metalheadz tunes.

Bit of drum and bass to nod to this morning...

This one giving me hardcore vibes, Plight of the Innovator style...

Also Electronic Experienced
The comment on here is useful: "Not the easiest of tracks to drop in to a mix with due to the missing beat at the start of the track." will have to remember that next time, as yeah, I've made a mess of mixing it before!

Just ordered up some rare darkcore forthcoming on a repress...
Huge Tears for Fears sample on this - only made it out on the promo and must have got yanked for sample clearance.

Looking through more of the 'intelligent' stuff. Pretty much anything on GLR and LGR are going to be buy on sight, plus Precious Materials seems like a good go-to label (with the added benefit of not having such an in-demand and expensive backcat). What other labels are people liking?

Here’s a mix plug for today. Start this off with a couple of tracks from Jilted Gen - The Narcotic Suite - and blend in some classic tunes - Warp Drive and Renegade Snares.
Rest of it is a progression through hardcore/jungle/drum and bass.

Bit obsessed with this tune at the moment.
https://hardcorejunglism.com/items/dj-crystl-warpdrive-remix/
The breakdown at 4:10 is just pure dark, dream, deep, space-tek uplifting, euphoric badness of the highest degree.
Nice little old write up of it when it was still cheap: https://drumtrip.co.uk/tuneoftheday/bargain-jungle-dj-crystl-warp-drive-remix/
Rumours abound of Crystl represses in the near future, which have been met mostly by dismay, as Hardcore Junglism is not known for good quality mastering and pressing.

Just picked this up from the post office, just the right blend of fromage & emotion.
This is also very much worth the free DL.
