  • Hah! I’m glad to hear that actually, otherwise it’d need a service!

  • Anybody’s got the original Erika strap? Are they really that good? I’ve never actually seen/touched one and I can’t really see how they can cost so much? The £6 Zuludiver ones are basically the same, aren’t they?

  • I think @Señor_Bear has both legit and snide, so can probably offer a good comparison

  • I have both.

The cost difference is not in the materials, it’s that they’re handmade in Europe vs being churned out for pennies in factories in China. Quality wise they’re very similar.

The advantage with Erika is that they are made to order so the fit is better (the knockoffs are too long for the average wrist size IMO) and you can choose from a number of custom options for things like stitching and hardware.

Whether that’s worth the extra is up to you.

  • Good morning. It’s Friday! As per usual, not much point in me showing my Apple Watch ( boo hiss etc). I came across this ad today. I like the idea of adding a £40,000+ watch to a Wish List. My wish lists usually comprise of phone screen protectors or bin bags! Have a great weekend all.

  • I miss my one of these.

This is the one you kindly sent me. I really love the dial - every part is spot on and balanced.

Really enjoying the perlon strap in the summer. I loved the aesthetics of a two piece perlon on my skx013, but the weight meant it never quite worked. This is just that bit lighter and wider that it just feels right.
