  • The leaks mainly come from the front unfortunately, and everything is so small inside the camera that i don't think there's any real way to take it all apart, work out where the leak is coming from and put it all back together again.

  • Fair enough - cheaper to buy a new one.

  • Another option that I settled on a while ago is a Canon 50mm 1.8 / any cheap Canon autofocus SLR body. Mine is an EOS 300. It's not really much bigger than a P&S but much more versatile IMO.

    The body cost about a tenner and the lens was 75GBP or something. And the photos are so, so, so much nicer than anything that ever came out of my Mju-II.
