All ‘85 campa or what is the goal? RD should be second gen and around 87, no? Double QR‘s on both the brakes and levers but I‘m sure you‘re aware of that :) The 1st gen delta/cobalto levers are hard to find...

De rien. Good luck with the search. It took me quite some time to find some for the boschetti.

As soon as I saw that pic I thought "that's a Gaston." I'm getting good at this!

lovely that.

Whaaa that's beautiful! Vittoria's really suit it. Are you looking for a c-rec headset?
-
• #127335
The cockpit alone is a work of art, or at least artisanale 🙌
-
• #127336
You have a keen eye! The headset is indeed a chorus. I‘m very slowly accumulating parts for it since I don‘t want to pay ebay c-record prices. So while i‘m not really searching for one at the moment, I wouldn‘t mind if a reasonable priced one found it‘s way on to the bike... glad you like the vittorias, they certainly split opinions.

The cockpit is a Mavic stem , cutted 3TTT olympic drops, and DIY drilled C rec 2nd gen levers.
Thanks Guys !

Can anyone point me to bars like this (nice ergo, silver) with OS clamp please?

Zipp Service Course Ergo
Good shout, thanks. They have the disadvantage of making me want to buy the seatpost and stem too though
-
• #127343
You're welcome.. They have the same exact effect on me as well.

Bought this recently:
Cannondale CAAD10 frame
Campag Zonda wheels
Campag Athena 11 speed group set, 50/34 rings
Campag Chorus Skeleton brakes, Chorus cassette 11 x 29
Continental Ultra Sport 2 tyres 25mm
3T ARX stem, Easton EA50 bars
Easton EC90 carbon seat post, Selle Italia Max Flite Gel saddle
Shimano 105 pedalsCan't see any parts I would immediately change. Maybe the chainset as Planet-X have some 53/39 on sale for £60, and the rings seem expensive on their own. Also the tyres and saddle. Have never used Campag before. What's Athena like, compared with say, Ultegra 6800? Thought this was a good deal at £550 and nothing I need to upgrade.

Hmmm yes me too

130mm hub into 126mm spaced alu frame - just squeeze it in or try to mess with the hub spacing?
-
• #127347
If the frame is steel, I'd imagine 2mm deflection in the stays will easily be absorbed
-
• #127348
If the frame is steel
If the frame was steel, he probably wouldn't be asking.

Kinda hoping for your advice.... 😁
Moved stuff over from my kona unit to genesis fortitude 2021 yesterday and took to local bmx track. Chopping steerer, dropper post, new front wheel and new brakes are next on the list for this.
Oval ring on single speed feels a little odd but looking forward to more rides on this.
