Suspicious Ebay / Gumtree Sales

CONDOR Accacio - flat bar.

Being sold as a single speed but clearly has a group set.

I looks more like a 58/60 than a 52 looking at the size of the headtube aswell.

Thought I’d pop it on here just incase

Looks iffy to me. All different sizes and all in the commuter bike category. I'd be very surprised if they weren't all stolen too. Someone has to recognise that Peugeot it looks tidy. Hopefully it may get reunited with its owner 🤞

What do you mean it's not? It clearly says surly all over it.

Maybe its a high spec limited edition with custom upside-down fork decals? Possibly under priced for such a fine specimen 😂

I messaged them on ebay asking about it. Got a reply saying that it was removed from ebay and sold for more than asking price on a 'local'site...

Maybe they put more surly stickers on thus inflating its value even more

A lot of hooky stuffs easy to spot as they'll either purposefully spell the brand wrong, or just put an advert in for a high value item as "racing bike for sale" a la shpock or facebook marketplace or gumtree @boomboom looking at previous sales, it's expensive nikon lenses and aftershaves, all hawkable stuff, where I live in Bolton the local Beales store when it was open, bless it, was plagued with junkies stealing scent.

This looks very iffy. The in depth description and current settings on this bike stink... Cannondale R800 in Blue. London.

Hmm. He has good feedback, has a name tag of Enrico on the top tube and one of his feedback comments is in Spanish. Maybe legit?

The seller's name is Zouheir Chaaban though. I suppose Enrico could be a nickname.

Sparse listing, but nothing there that makes me suspicious. Seller has feedback, had previously sold a Madone for £5k, listing has good pics, has disclosed full address, phone and email on listing.

Nothing other then inflated price and poor description skills stands out
