just got both of our cats back from the vet's after getting them spayed.
they have those anti lick collars on and are looking very sorry for themselves. I don't think the collars will end up staying on that long...

Nico's taken her hoodie off 5 times already.
How much of an issue is it if they lick their stitches?

Cat tounges are filthy, they shouldn't be licking the wound if it hasn't healed.
Sad seeing the cats in those crazy things.

They don't just lick a little bit they'll try to deep clean it and rip the wound open. I found that the soft ones you can buy work much better than the cone of shame.

Some in the dog thread suggested zipties to keep cone attached.

Patch doesn’t seem to care about the heat too much. I try to point a fan at her but she doesn’t seem to like the noise... 🤷🏻♀️

Awww... so cute!
He looks a bit like Stephen Bear when she was a tiny kitten. Here she is helping with plant watering duties:

Inspired by a friend who's given their baby a damp tea towel to play with, Leeloo seems to be taking to this.

Tried that and a fan with Waily, got freaked out by both the silly git.

That's exactly how I am coping with the heat but with a bath towel rather than a tea towel.

They know where the cool flagstones are so maybe they'd find a cold water bottle?

Or tramp cat, begging for scrumpy.... or wanting 50p for his catnip addiction.
I so love (makes me so happy, even happier than 3 desserts for the price of one) that a local furball comes and demands attention and fuss.

Quite a character, it was spotting the dogs being walked across the field and getting tetchy and ready set to fight, then once they went out if sight would chill out again.

Still can’t figure out where does this cat come from. I see it in my garden and out front on the main road... but I have never seen Patch out front... We winked at each other and now I feel dirty...

Ballpark cost of kitten/cat per month? We have a cat already, adding two kittens to the mix wont break the bank will it? Right?
We would get a pair to integrate better with the big one.
Sad for your loss, she looks like a character.
