Nice bike if it is the one on Ebay.
Might be worth reading the rules before listing it on here though.

It's been deleted from eBay but I will have to check it's gone. Too many waste of time people on there.
Have sold stuff on here and it's easier by far. Just forgot to try here first. -

Hi Tom, are you happy to post to London?
-

Hi dude. I will post at cost which I think is about £25. I can include the cassette no problem but would struggle to get two sets of wheels in the same box.

Liking those tyres - I can't seem to find the blue Zafiros anywhere.

I got them from Planet X.

I love this bike so much, I'd consider having my legs surgically extended.

How tall are you?

53 is max for me old school, 50cm or less, modern I only have short legs! Bump.

This is a very cool bike. Don't think I've ever seen one of these before.
Price seems good, five hundred quid really doesn't seem like all that much money for something seemingly special. glwsedit - thought id mention if you dont manage to get it sold here, the folk on the retrobike site would probably be interested in this.

I think this bike is really cool and looks in really good condition for a 20 year old bike. They certainly are rare so its a caad 4 with a working headshok, nice spec and at £500 I'd say its a bargain for a rare, nice good looking bike and i agree with @carbonsinglespeed the retrobike mob would be all over this if you don't get a sale on here. Too big for me though ☹️

Yeah totally agree. I've no idea what previous sold prices for these have been in the past but would have thought given the good condition you could maybe get a wee bit more on retro bike.
Someone could put riser bars on and turn it into a v rad commuter!

Cheers for the comments and recommendations.
It fits a 25 easy but would have to check a 28. -

So that is why you have posted this on Retrobike now too?..

It's on retrobike as well yes. I put it up yesterday. It was originally on eBay but I was told it wasn't allowed on there.
-
• #19
It's not allowed to be here and anywhere else. Read the rules as advised in the first reply.

I've got one that I could be persuaded to part with.
I'm looking to sell my Cannondale Silk to fund a holiday to Morzine.
Size 56cm. I'm 5ft 11 for reference.
It was the dream bike I always wanted when I was a kid growing up racing, so I will be sad to see it go but needs must.
Overall condition is good, I have taken pictures of the areas where the paint has stated to flake in places. Paintwork is good and cleans up really well. Odd chip here and there but nothing excessive.
Headshock works well and the adjustment lever does make the shock stiffer.
Groupset is a mixture of Campagnolo Veloce and Mirage. All works well. Wheels are Campagnolo Ventos with brand new Vittoria tyres fitted. The wheels are actually 8 speed but the mesh is perfect with the 9 speed shifters. If you were looking to daily ride this the bike also comes with a 9speed Miche cassette (Shimano freehub fitment to make wheel choice easier) that has been used with the chain. I have never ridden it further than up and down the road with the Ventos on. I may even have a set of spare Shimano fitment wheels that can go with it as well.
Cannondale bar and stem, the bike has a Carbon Bontrager seat on now. Pedals not included but I can leave some on for a test ride should anyone want.
Looking for £500
Based in Stourbridge, West Midlands
