Genesis over Surly any day. Cheaper, better geometry and less hipster cred.

both frames are about 10 years old- rim brake genesis vs creamroller
I'm in Haggerston so, while I'm not hip myself I'm accustomed to hip ingress into my daily life

Had both, day one was dull and heavy compared to the surly, the steamroller is much nicer on ruff stuff as well, that's what I think

both decent bikes but I'd appreciate your opinions please
The Day One seems to have a slightly more modern geo plus better mountings- mudguards, front and rear racks
Surly has a good rep & resale value but seems to lack a few features
both come in at similar money though
