We did this, end of last year installed new heating. Removed a combi from the kitchen and another that was on the 1st floor landing. That landing cupboard now has the washing machine and tumble dryer. Already had a water feed so just the waste to be fitted. New boiler went into the basement, kitchen is free of washing machine, tumble and boilers...
In the same situation and we have considered moving the washing machine and tumble dryer out of the kitchen and upstairs into a utility cupboard area. However that would also mean moving the boiler which is a bit of a pain. Would be good to get them out of the kitchen though.
