There's a regular stall in my weird provincial Kentish town that sells wooden signs that aspire for the hemp string and driftwood bon mot vibe but misses by a mile. They're branded into bits of cheap plywood and say stuff like "Grumpy Old Cunt" and "That's nice... now, fuck off". They also do less overtly offensive ones that say shot like "gin O'Clock" or "Grandpa's shed" but the real cunty ones do catch the eye.

You still get streaks of piss in hackney walking around with a tote back full of... I dunno a book and a phone? Get a backpack/more pockets

Tin cloth is awesome, I have a coat, vest and dungarees, it’s great as it’s so thorn proof I can wade or ride the tractor straight through brambles. However it’s a super heavy wax cotton, made in the same factory as Barbour material and would leave a wax residue on ones baked produce.

My current tote of choice is the Midori Takada one from when her album was reissued by we release what the fuck we want records.
